Terms of Service

Welcome to TranzEase (“TranzEase”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by LambdaTech HK. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TranzEase mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using TranzEase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use TranzEase. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. You may create an account using your email or sign in via Apple/Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. Description of Service

TranzEase provides AI-powered translation services including text, voice, image translation, conversation mode, and offline translation packs. Certain features are available free of charge, while advanced features require a subscription (“TranzEase Pro”).

3. iOS Subscriptions & Auto‑Renewal Terms

TranzEase offers auto-renewing subscription options for iOS users via Apple’s App Store. The following terms specifically apply to in-app purchases made through iOS devices.

iOS Subscription Details

  • Subscription Plans: TranzEase Pro is available as Monthly and Yearly subscriptions. Prices are displayed in the App Store and may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Managing Subscriptions: You can manage your subscription and disable auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
  • Trial Period: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription (where applicable).
  • Price Changes: We may adjust subscription prices. Any price change will take effect at the start of the next subscription period after notice via the App Store or in-app notification. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Refunds: All transactions are handled by Apple. Requests for refunds must be directed to Apple Support. TranzEase does not directly process refunds for iOS in-app purchases.

iOS Subscription Cancellation: To cancel, open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → TranzEase → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

3.1. Android & Other Platforms

For Android devices (Google Play) or web purchases, subscriptions are managed via the respective platform’s billing system and follow similar auto-renewal rules. Please refer to Google Play’s subscription policies for cancellation instructions.

4. Free Trial & Promotional Offers

From time to time, TranzEase may offer free trials or promotional discounts. Trial periods are limited to one per user unless otherwise stated. Any promotional offer is subject to specific terms presented at the time of sign-up. At the end of the trial period, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

  • Using TranzEase for any illegal purpose or to translate harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
  • Circumventing any access or usage restrictions (e.g., sharing subscription credentials).
  • Interfering with the Service’s infrastructure or overloading our systems.

Violation may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the TranzEase app, its design, logos, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of LambdaTech HK. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. User Content & Privacy

Any text, images, or audio you submit for translation (“User Content”) remains your property. TranzEase does not claim ownership. However, you grant us a limited license to process User Content solely to provide the translation service. Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination & Suspension

You may delete your account at any time via app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your subscription will not be prorated for any unused period.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TranzEase disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Translations are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies; the Service is not intended for critical translations where errors could cause harm.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LambdaTech HK and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. In any event, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TranzEase, LambdaTech HK, and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong. For EU residents, you may also have the right to submit complaints to your local data protection authority.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice within the app or via email. Your continued use of TranzEase after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Apple App Store Additional Terms

These Terms incorporate by reference Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, these Terms shall prevail regarding TranzEase-specific matters. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for TranzEase, and Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the application.

Reminder: You can cancel your iOS subscription at any time via your Apple ID settings. No partial refunds are provided for unused periods. Manage your subscription to avoid unwanted charges.

By using TranzEase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including the iOS subscription auto‑renewal terms.
